Elephant Hump arrive with a sound that moves. A contemporary jazz fusion that does not confine itself to one style, but opens outward – toward funk, electronics, rock, and that subtle hint of seventies nostalgia you feel before you can quite name it.
Their album Telekomander confirms the direction: rhythmic tension, clearly shaped themes, and an energy that develops into a steady flow. The quintet operates as a tight unit, with a strong sense of dynamics and shared momentum. Bass and drums anchor the ground, while layered lines rise above them, building the sound step by step.
This is a concert for listeners who appreciate groove but do not want predictability. In the intimate space of Prulček, the music gains extra edge – closer, more immediate, carrying drive from the first note to the last.
