Jazz, ki ne mara ravnih črt: malo fusiona, malo proga, precej poslušanja in trije glasbeniki, ki drug drugemu ves čas prestavljajo tla.
Landscape Trio gradi glasbo iz poslušanja. Kitara, kontrabas in bobni ne stojijo vsak na svojem bregu, temveč se ves čas odzivajo drug na drugega, prevzemajo pobude in sproti spreminjajo smer skladbe.
Njihov jazz sega proti fusionu, progresivnemu rocku in občasno tudi glasbam sveta. Melodije ostajajo dovolj jasne, da jim lahko slediš, okoli njih pa se odpira precej več prostora: za nenadne ritmične premike, gostejše zvočne plasti, tišino in trenutke, ko trio iz mirnega toka preide v skoraj hipnotično energijo.
V ozadju se srečujejo zelo različni vplivi, od Milesa Davisa in Coltrana do Allana Holdswortha, Pata Methenyja, Roberta Glasperja in King Crimson. Iz tega ne delajo kolaža, temveč lasten skupni jezik.
Njihov album Sailing Through je izšel pri japonski založbi, v Prulčku pa bodo skladbe znova odprli od znotraj. Kaj se bo zgodilo z njimi tokrat, tudi sami še ne vedo povsem.

Landscape Trio build their music through listening. Guitar, double bass and drums are in constant conversation, responding to one another, picking up ideas and changing the direction of a piece as it unfolds.
Their jazz reaches into fusion, progressive rock and, at times, world music. The melodies stay clear enough to follow, while plenty of space opens around them: for sudden rhythmic shifts, denser textures, silence, and moments when the trio moves from a quiet flow into almost hypnotic energy.
Their influences stretch widely, from Miles Davis and John Coltrane to Allan Holdsworth, Pat Metheny, Robert Glasper and King Crimson. Rather than turning these references into a collage, they use them to shape a shared language of their own.
Their album Sailing Through was released on a Japanese label. At Prulček, they will open the material up again and let it take a different shape in the room.
